Depeche Mode Electronic Rock Band are Electronic rock music bands from the UK who have been making Electronic rock music since 1980. They formed in Basildon, Essex, England, United Kingdom. The founders included Dave Gahan (the band’s lead vocal), Martin Gore (songwriter, keyboards, and guitar) and Vince Clarke (keyboards).

In 1988 the 101 Tour launched with several dates throughout the UK, Ireland and Italy. This coincided with the release of compilation album 101. The band finished its 1989-90 world tour with the biggest show of their career. Present during the show in Rio de Janeiro was more than 180,000 fans.
